Mobile Site Visit App
The client was looking for a tool to manage photos that engineers collected during on site visits.
The app increases the efficiency of site visits and allows for the timely identification and communication of, issues to the necessary team members for resolution.
Usable with smartphones, users can capture images of issues and associate the photo with structured data (project name & number, date, location etc.) and detailed text descriptions of the photo and issue.
The photos, descriptions and meta data are synchronized with a centralized internal system accessible by the required teams.
Quality Control – Signoff Management
Working with Entuitive we designed an application that matched the existing workflow and allowed for an easy-to-use, online sign-off process that rolled up for final approval as well creating an online, permanent record.
To manage quality assurance (QA) across the company and meet their insurance company’s governance requirements, Entuitive had implemented a multi-level, project completion, paper-based, sign-off process. The process rolled up from junior engineers to the senior engineer responsible for an entire project. The paper-based process was unwieldy and an administrative burden - Entuitive wanted to bring the workflow online.
The administrative burden was reduced significantly, and our client enjoys more timely project wrap-ups and ultimately improved cash flow.
